August shoot report

An interesting fun shoot, set for some high scores.
Stand 3 caught a lot of folk out!
Statistically the average for this shoot was 32.853.

Stand 1 - Normal location in the trees, 4 pairs: Simultaneous Pair.
Sim Pair crossing from the Right. Pretty fast - had to be quick to get both before the birds were into the trees
This was the second hardest stand of the day and only 2 people straighted it.

Stand 2 - Lake, 3 pairs: Chondel crossing over lake followed by going away standard on rapport.
Swinging face on from Chondel over the lake from the right. 2nd bird slow easy going away on rapport.
Joint easiest stand of the day and 20 people straighted it.

Stand 3 - Car Park, 4 pairs: Simultaneous Pair from the overhead tower.
Sim pair coming out from the tower behind and going overhead. Pretty hard stand.
Not surprisingly, the hardest stand of the day, but 1 person did straight it.

Stand 4 - Dingley Dell, 3 pairs: Shot from small tower, low going away sim pair.
Shot from the platform, a pair of fairly straightforward rising targets.
Joint easiest stand of the day and 20 people straighted it.

Stand 5 - Hedgerow stand, 4 pairs: L-R standard followed by R-L standard on rapport.
First target from left was pretty swift. R-L was easier, but both were quite close to shooter.
2nd easiest stand of the day and 12 people straighted it.

Stand 6 - Telegraph tower stand, 3 pairs: L-R and R-L Simultaneous Pair.
Sim pair from L-R and R-L. Bit like a middle skeet stand! Not bad as long as you picked up the first one quickly.
2nd hardest stand of the day and only 4 people straighted this stand.

Stand 7 - End tower stand, 4 pairs: Midi pair on rapport.
Midi pair on report from over shooters right shoulder!
Trap was a little erratic so had to have your wits about you - you never quite knew which position the clay would be in.
         9 people straighted this stand.
